“Here and There”, a Mixed Reality Mobilementary

Hello guys! Again, it’s a pleasure working with you, in particular if on mobile media production matters! Let me please show you “Here and There” a mixed reality mobilementary, made by +Morgan Royle and me, in (Externado University)  Bogota (Colombia) and Manchester (UK), as part of #moco360, in a trully collaborative enviroment. I hope this “Here and There” video not to be just one but just one of several in the future! All made with mobiles, apps and social media! Let’s keep in touch!  Regards from Bogotá!

A Forced Perspective Compilation

Great example of a student-generated collaborative project for #MoCo360 : “The Forced Perspective Project” from @TheFPProject

The Forced Perspective Project

The team recently went out filmed some more forced perspective. We have then edited it together to give an idea of what the finished project will look like, however we still need your help! We need your forced perspective films by this coming Friday so you better get moving. Message us if you have any questions.

Forced Perspective Project

A student-initiated collaboration for MoCo360 – Great stuff from @JenMacleod301

If you can fit it into a Vine or Instagram video that would be perfect but using any app will give a different effect to each video.

The crazier the better but it must be filmed on a mobile and be submitted portrait instead of landscape.

Anyone who submits and is put in the film will be notified and credited either during the…

#MoCo360 kicks off!

Heloukee: EdTech and Digital Culture

#MoCo360 is an umbrella term/collective (Mobile Collaboration all around you, geddit?) designed to aggregate mobile film co-creations and collaborations across the globe. Involving the usual suspects from the #ELVSS international mobile filmmaking collaborations, along with the welcome additions of Anthony Nevin and Dave Cowlard, #MoCo360 is the social aggregator for various mobile filmmaking projects and collaborations involving staff and students from NZ/FR/DE/CO/UK, including ELVSS (the BIG one), 24 Frames 24 Hours, Shoot Me Now, Shoot Your Egg, and #marmw.

We wanted to find a way to sustain our global collaborations and mini-projects, especially when diverse student numbers and shifting semester dates work against us, while still retaining a sense of community across space and time. Hopefully #MoCo360 will give us a bit more flexibility; by connecting under the #MoCo360 banner we can still work together – hopefully all year round in an #iCollab sense –…
